  1. Soak the rice in water and also soak the saffron strand in milk for 20 minutes.
  2. Grind all the ingredients of yakhni without adding water and fry the Jack fruit cubes in oil till golden brown in colour and fry the cashew nuts till they become golden brown.
  3. Heat a cooker and put ghee in it and then add the chopped onion and green chilli in it.
  4. Saute it for sometime till it becomes slightly translucent and then add the fried Jack fruit cubes and saute it well.
  5. Beat the curd well and add into it and then add the soaked rice, salt and water and mix it well and cover the lid of the cooker and cook up-to 1 whistle in high flame.
  6. Let the gas remove out normally and then add the saffron milk in it and then cover it and let it cook in dum for about 5-6 minutes in low flame.
  7. Mix the fried cashew nuts in it.
