  2. Prepare 1 1/2 cup chopped jackfruit flesh

  5. Get 1 cup milk
  6. Prepare 1 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions to make Jackfruit Rasmalai:

  1. Heat a pan. Spread some homemade ghee on both the sides of the bread slices and roast them. Keep them aside.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp homemade ghee in a pan. Add 1 cup chopped jackfruit flesh, 1 tbsp freshly grated coconut and let it cook for 6-7 minutes on low flame.
  3. Add 1 tbsp almond & cashew nut flakes and mix. Remove from the pan & let the mixture cool down.
  4. In a mixer jar add 2 tbsp chopped jackfruit, 1 cup milk and blend well.
  5. Add this mixture to a pan. Let the mixture thicken, stirring continuously. Then add 1 tsp cardamom powder and mix. Remove from the flame.
  6. Arrange 3 slices of bread in a serving plate. Spread 1-2 tbsp of the milk mixture on the slices. Then spread 1-2 tbsp jackfruit mixture and place the other 3 slices.
  7. Then spread the milk mixture on the top of the other slice. Garnish with almond-cashew nut flakes & canned cranberries. Refrigerate & serve chilled.
