Cabbage Recipe

Cabbage is one of the most popular of current trending foods in the world. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. Cabbage is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have cabbage using 16 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Cabbage:

  1. Get 250 gm Chopped cabbage
  2. Prepare 1/2 Bowl Green Peas
  3. Get 1/2 Bowl Chopped onion
  4. Make ready 1/2 Bowl Chopped tomato
  5. Make ready 1 Green chilli
  6. Take 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  7. Get 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  8. Make ready 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  9. Get 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  10. Prepare 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  11. Get 1/4 tsp Garam masala
  12. Get 1 Pinch Asafoetida
  13. Take to taste Salt
  14. Make ready 3 tbsp Cooking oil
  15. Get 2 tsp Coriander leaves
  16. Make ready 1 Chopped Potato

Steps to make Cabbage:

  1. Turn on the flame and heat a kadhai. Add oil and let it heat. Add cumin seeds, Asafoetida and green chilli. Fry it for few seconds. Add ginger garlic paste and chopped onions. Fry the onions till it turns golden brown on medium flame. Reduce the flame to low. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder. Mix it and fry it for a minute on low flame.
  2. Add chopped tomato. Fry till tomatoes turns soft. Increase the flame to medium and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add potato, peas and cabbage and mix it well. Add salt and mix it. Cover the kadhai and cook it for 15 minutes on low flame. Keep stirring in between. Add garam masala and green chilli.
  4. Add coriander leaves and mix it. Turn off the flame. Take out in a bowl. Garnish with coriander leaves.
  5. Ready to serve with Chapati, Parantha etc.
