  1. For Rice - take a pan and add 1 tbsp oil and when oil heats add 1.5 cup water let it boil and add salt to taste and add soaked rice(wash rice thoroughly and soak for 30 min) cook until water bubbles appear and then cover it with lid and cook for some time on medium flame
  2. For dal - wash dal thoroughly and Soak for 30 mins now add the dal and add 2 cup water furthermore add tomatoes,chillies, salt to taste, turmeric, and cook for 3 whistles further once the Pressure is released add tadka for tadka in a frypan add 2 tbsp oil chopped garlic cloves and 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  3. For potatoes- wash and peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces and deep fry until soft and cooked well. Further drain the extra oil and add salt to taste, 1tsp red chilli powder 2 tsp coriander powder 1 tsp turmeric and cook on medium flame for 5 to 10 mins
