  1. Prepare 2 cup Basmati Rice
  2. Get 6 fresh tomatoes diced
  3. Prepare dash oregano
  4. Get 5 fresh Habanero Pepper dice

  6. Make ready 1 bulb onions diced
  7. Take 1 cksp veg oil
  8. Prepare to taste salt

Steps to make Basmati Rice:

  1. Parboil water once it boiling hot turn off heat and pour the rice into the pot, let it rest for about 2 mins; stir and drain.
  2. Heat up pot add vegetable oil and diced onions and after a minute or do add the diced tomatoes & pepper and allow it cook for about 7 minutes, stir continuously during this period,
  3. Add salt, bouillon cube and finally stir in the rice, add a little water or chicken stock if you have any, you will have to monitor it to keep adding water till the rice is tender.
  4. Once the rice is tender and water has dried out; turn off heat and serve.
