  23. Get 2 cups water
  24. Get 1 tsp grated ginger
  25. Prepare 2 tsp Jeera masala / cumin powder

  27. Make ready 1 tbsp coriander powder
  28. Take 2 tsp kasuri methi
  29. Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
  30. Prepare 3 tbsp fresh cream

Instructions to make Butter chicken:

  1. For first marination: Take a chicken, add salt, lemon juice and Ginger-garlic paste. Mix it and marinate it for 15 min. For second marination: In a bowl, add oil and kashmiri red chilli powder, mix it properly, now add curd, besan, tikka masala, mix it well.
  2. Now add chicken pieces from first marination, squeeze the water properly, and then add in the curd mixture.marinate for 1 hour in freeze. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add marinated chicken pieces on medium -high flame, cook from both side and keep aside.
  3. Grind the mixture properly, strain the gravy properly and keep aside.
  4. Boil water, add tomatoes, onion, bayleaf, cashew, cloves, cardamon,, cinnamon, garlic, 1 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder. Cook till tomatoes become soft. Cool it. Grind it.
  5. Heat butter, add grated ginger, cook for a while, add gravy, salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi, cream, sugar, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, mix it properly, cook the gravy till oil comes out.
  6. Add tikka pieces into gravy, mix it. Cover with lid. Cook for 10 min.serve hot.
