- Take 1 inch cinnamon stick

- Prepare 2 tsp Jeera masala / cumin powder

- Make ready 1 tbsp coriander powder
- Take 2 tsp kasuri methi
- Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Prepare 3 tbsp fresh cream
Instructions to make Butter chicken:
- For first marination: Take a chicken, add salt, lemon juice and Ginger-garlic paste. Mix it and marinate it for 15 min. For second marination: In a bowl, add oil and kashmiri red chilli powder, mix it properly, now add curd, besan, tikka masala, mix it well.
- Now add chicken pieces from first marination, squeeze the water properly, and then add in the curd mixture.marinate for 1 hour in freeze. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add marinated chicken pieces on medium -high flame, cook from both side and keep aside.
- Grind the mixture properly, strain the gravy properly and keep aside.
- Boil water, add tomatoes, onion, bayleaf, cashew, cloves, cardamon,, cinnamon, garlic, 1 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder. Cook till tomatoes become soft. Cool it. Grind it.
- Heat butter, add grated ginger, cook for a while, add gravy, salt, chilli powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi, cream, sugar, turmeric powder, coriander leaves, mix it properly, cook the gravy till oil comes out.
- Add tikka pieces into gravy, mix it. Cover with lid. Cook for 10 min.serve hot.
