  1. Get 1 cup basmati rice/rice

  3. Take 1 cup palak(spinach) leaves

  7. Get 1 tsp garam masala
  8. Take 1 inch cinnemom stick

Instructions to make Spinach Rice:

  1. In a pressure cooker add ghee roast cashews and raisins and keep aside.
  2. Grind palak, onion, chilli, ginger and garlic to smooth paste
  3. Add whole spices and saute. Add palak puree and saute till rawness goes
  4. Add washed and soaked rice and saute a minute
  5. Add garam masala, slat, sugar, garam masala and water and pressure cook for a whistle
  6. Garnish with cashews and raisins and serve
