Coconut Rice is one of the most popular of current trending meals on earth. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. It is easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. Coconut Rice is something which I have loved my entire life. They are fine and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can have coconut rice using 6 ingredients and 7 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Coconut Rice:

  1. Get 1 cup Jasmine rice
  2. Prepare 1/8 tsp salt
  3. Take 1 Tbsp raw sugar (one with molasses )
  4. Prepare 1 tblsp butter
  5. Take 1 can unsweetened coconut milk
  6. Take Water as needed

Instructions to make Coconut Rice:

  1. Shake the can of coconut milk, and pour it into a measuring cup. Fill the rest of the cup with water until it reaches 2 cups of liquid. * the coconut milk has thick stuff in it, I’m not sure what it is. It tastes good, I use it. 😎
  2. Pour the liquid into the pan. Add butter, salt and sugar. Bring it to a boil. Note: you could sub raw sugar for light brown sugar or plain sugar with a drip of molasses.
  3. When it boils, add the 1 cup of rice and stir it while it boils for 1 minute.
  4. After 1 minute, cover, and turn heat to low, and let it simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. See that lid…. DON’T TOUCH IT!!!!! 😠 Not for 15 minutes anyway 😋
  6. When the time is up, fluff rice with a fork or stir it, whatever 😆. That’s all folks!
