Instructions to make chicken tikka masala:
- Maarinate chicken pieces with ginger garlic paste, kashmir red chilli paste, salt, turmeric powder, yogurt, garam masala powder, lemon juice, cumin powder and mix well. Let them rest for 1-2 hours.
- After 2 hrs Heat oil in a pan shallow fry) u can grill also ) the chicken pieces and cook for 3-4 minutes on high heatkeep aside.
- FOR GRAVY : Heat oil in a pan add all the whole spices(cinnamon, cardamon cloves bay leaf cumin seeds.)saute it.
- To this add onions saute it well till they are lightly brown in colour.
- Add ginger garlic paste tomato puree (blend 2-3 tomatoes)green chilliessaute it well till the oil separates.
- To this add cashew paste,kasoorimeti, kashmiri chillypowder, turmeric,salt,tomato ketchupmix well till it gets a creamy consistency.
- At last add the fried chicken peicesmixwellfor more gravy add little water &cover the lid for 5min in a low flame.
