Falafel Recipe
Falafel is one of the most favored of recent trending foods on earth. It’s simple, it’s fast, it tastes yummy. It is enjoyed by millions every day. Falafel is something that I’ve loved my entire life. They are nice and they look fantastic.
To bewith this recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can cook falafel using 9 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.
The ingredients needed to make Falafel:
- Prepare 150 gms chickpeas
- Make ready 5 cloves garlic
- Take 1 onion
- Get 1 green chilli
- Make ready 1 handful parsley/coriander leaves
- Make ready 1 tsp coriander powder
- Take 1 tsp cumin powder
- Take 3/4 tsp salt
- Get 4 cups oil for deep frying
Steps to make Falafel:
- Soak chickpeas overnight. Next morning wash the chickpeas and grind coarsely in the food processor or grinder. Take out in a bowl
- Grind the onion, garlic, chilli and parsley in the food processor/mini chopper and add to the ground chickpeas. Then add salt, chilli powder, cumin powder and coriander powder. Mix well with soft hands
- Then heat oil in a kadhai. Let it heat completely and then lower the flame. Make small tikkis with the falafel mix and add to the heated oil. Fry till both sides are nice golden in colour. Serve hot with pita bread or simply homemade rotis, salad and Yoghurt dip. I have made small chapatis for serving.
