The ingredients needed to make Ghee rice:

  1. Make ready 2 cups rice
  2. Get 2 onions
  3. Take 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. Take 1 tbsp saunf
  5. Prepare 2-3 cardamon
  6. Prepare 3-4 tbsp coriander leaves
  7. Prepare 4-5 curry leaves
  8. Make ready 4-5 tbsp ghee
  9. Get 5-6 cashews
  10. Prepare 5-6 Raisins

Instructions to make Ghee rice:

  1. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker. Add saunf, cardamom, ginger garlic paste. Saute for few sec
  2. Add onion and saute it until it’s golden colour.Clean the rice. I had taken normal rice. You can also make it with basmati and pour into cooker add 5 cups water and salt Close the cooker. Whistle for 5
  3. In a frying pan add some ghee roast cashew and raisin keep aside.
  4. In a same pan or other frying pan add some ghee add curry leaves, coriander leaves and onion saute it until it’s colour turn brown
  5. Open the pressure cooker pour the onion tadka and nuts. Give a mix slowly.
  6. Serve with chicken or mutton gravy. If you are vegetarian serve with paneer curry.
