- To make the burgers we will first make egg salad. Chop three boiled eggs, one onion and some green coriander.
- In a mixing bowl collect boiled eggs, onion, green coriander, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. Mix well. Egg salad is ready.
- Now to make the patties, cover a tray with cling wrap. Take a round cookie cutter or a ring. Place the ring on the cling wrap. Put 2-3 tbsp of salad in the ring and press lightly with a spoon to flatten it out. Make all the patties like this.
- Now cover the patties lightly with the cling wrap and freeze for 3-4 hours minimum. I did it overnight. This is how they came out in the morning nice and firm.
- Now grind the bread slices and cornflakes in a grinder to get crumbs. And make a slurry of water and maida.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Dip the patty in maida slurry and then roll in bread crumbs. Repeat the process. Deep fry till golden and crisp.
- Remove on an absorbent paper. Immediately keep the cheese slice on the hot patty.
- Cut the buns horizontally into halves. Heat a tawa, melt some butter and roast the buns with the cut side down. Roast till golden brown and crisp.
- Take the bottom portion of the bun, spread some tomato sauce and mayonnaise.
- Now add some lettuce and place the patty on the Lettuce.
