- Get 1/2 tsp haldi / turmeric powder
- Make ready 1/2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder

Steps to make Arbi Tikka Masala:
- Boil and peel the arbi.
- In a plate put two tablespoons of rice flour and two tablespoons of besan, salt, haldi,red chilli powder,hing,garam masala, coriander powder and oil. Mix well.
- Coat the arbi pieces with this mixture and flatten between the palms.
- Shallow fry them on both sides until golden.
- In a pan,heat oil,saute jeera,onions,garlic, ginger, whole dry red chillies, tomatoes, cloves, peppercorns. Cook till nicely cooked. Put off flame. Cool and blend to a paste.
- In the same pan again heat one tablespoon oil,put the above blended paste and cook for three to four minutes. Add all the dry masalas,mix well. Add water according to consistency required and bring to a boil. Add arbi pieces and simmer for about five minutes.
- Garnish with chopped coriander and chillies. Serve with roti or rice.
