  1. Crush garam masala given for crushing using a mortar and pestle.
  2. Deep fry jackfruit cubes till golden brown. Keep aside.
  3. Heat up 3 tbsp oil(I used mustard oil) in a kadhai.
  4. Add crushed garam masala, after few seconds add bay leaves, dry chillies and sliced onions.
  5. When it turns pink add fried kathal and salt. Mix, cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or till kathal softened.
  6. If kathal is taking time to cook add half a cup of water in between.
  7. Add garam masala powder, crushed coriander seeds, cook for few minutes. Add coriander leaves. Ready to eat!
