  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp Ginger Powder

  9. Prepare 1/2 cup water
  10. Make ready 1/4 Cup Orange juice

Instructions to make Shakarkandi (sweet potato):

  1. Heat tawa on high flame - clean shakarkandi, then lightly grease with oil/ ghee.
  2. Turn the flame very low - now put greased shakarkandis on flat tawa, and cover for 10 minutes.after 20 minutes turn sides.
  3. It takes 45 to 60 minutes or depends on the size of shakarkandi.Perfectly cook from inside and out.
  4. For Imlli Chutney
  5. Dissolve Imli in warm water till its dissolved completely and one can get enough pulp after strain.
  6. Heat a pan and pour the strained pulp in it.Keep the flame medium high and bring the imli pulp to boil.
  7. Once starts cooking, add sugar, red chillie flakes, Ginger Powder, Salt and mix well.
  8. Let it cook for 5-8 minutes and for last time taste the chuttney to adjust the sweetness and spiceness of it. - The tanginess of imli (khattas) will be there let it be. It’s a sweet and spicy chuttney so adjsut as per that.
  9. After 5 minutes, take it off from stove and let it cool. Your delicious imli chuttney is all set to be enjoyed.
  10. Assembling: place the Shakarkandi in a bowl then add orange juice, Imli Chutney, sprinkle chaat Masala and served…
