- Make ready 1.5 kg chicken
- Make ready 12 –14 green chillies (serrano)moti hari mirch
- Make ready 12 tbs ginger chopped
- Prepare 12 tbs garlic chopped
- Get 5 tbs ginger garlic paste
- Take 4 tbsp sukha dhania(cilantro dried)
- Make ready 4 tsp zeera(cumin)
- Take 2 tsp black pepper whole (sabut kali mirch)
- Get 2 tsp salt
- Make ready 2 tsp kasuri methi(dried fenugreek leaves)
- Make ready 2 tbsp chaat masala
- Get 2 tsp chilli flakes
- Prepare 1 tsp black salt
- Make ready 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Get 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Prepare 1.5 cup oil
- Prepare 1 cup plain yogurt (sada dahi)
- Take 4 tbsp chaat masala
- Get 1/2 tsp namak
- Get 1 tsp black pepper
Steps to make BALOCHI MASALA TIKKA😋:
- In a karhai add 1.5cups of oil and slightly heat it on medium flame for 2-3mins.then add your chicken.. don’t cover the lid.
- Once your chicken becomes white in colour then add all the green chillies (make slits in the chillies longitudinally from both sides so that they would not burst open in the karhai..urdu: mirch mein beech mein se chaak laga dein lambaan me ta ke wo oil mein jar kar uchlay nahi).
- Add your chopped Ginger and garlic..also add the ginger garlic paste. now cover the lid..and let it cook on medium flame for about 10 to 15 mins.
- Now as long as your chicken is cooking..we make our masala.in a frying pan add 4tbsp sabut dhania,4tbsp zeera and 2tsp of kali mirch..dont put oil just dry roast them on medium flame for about 10 mins..once completely roasted turn off the flame.
- Now grind your roasted spices and take them out in a bowl and mix chaat masala and all the other spices mentioned above.except lemon juice just spices ok.
- Now look at your chicken as it starts to get red brown colour add salt and cover the lid.and increase the flame to high and cook it for more 5-10 mins. as it gets completely red and brown colour then turn off the flame.
- Take out your fried chicken and add all the leftover masala in karhai in the oil.but only masala not oil.it looks like it’s burnt but it’s actually not.. that’s how it should look.urdu(fry ki hui tikkay ko ab bahir ek plate mein nikal lein aur oil mein se jo masala hai wo bhi bahir nikal le asa lagay ga ke shayd wo jal gaya hai lekin asa nahi hai..masala bilkl sahi hai isko asa hi dikhna chahiye)
- Now the dry roasted spice mixture u made earlier mix this with the chicken tikka and add lemon juice.. your tikka is done
- Dress it with dhania(cilantro)and ginger.yum yum it’s done.
- To take to a high notch make yogurt:for this mix together all the ingredients listed for dahi and add 1/4of water it’s doneeee.enjoy it with paratha or roti whatever u like.😋
