  20. Prepare 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder -
  21. Make ready 2 tbsp (heaped) Kasuri methi -
  22. Make ready Rest of the marinade Butter/ghee Salt

Steps to make Chicken tikka masala:

  1. Whisk the hung curd with all the mentioned ingredients and marinate the chicken pieces in for few hours.
  2. Heat a skillet with some oil and put the marinated chicken pieces and roast them on both the sides. Remove them and keep aside. Use the same skillet for the masala/gravy.
  3. Heat butter/ghee in the same skillet, and then add the chopped onion.
  4. Saute till golden brown and then add the ginger garlic paste. Saute till the raw smell goes away and then add the powdered masalas.
  5. Stir and then add the tomato puree, salt and the remaining marinade. Then add the Kasuri methi.
  6. Cook till the masala leaves oil. Add little water for the gravy.Bring upto boil and add the roasted chicken pieces.
  7. Give a good Stir, check for seasoning and serve.
