  1. Take 1 kg artichoke (cleaned)
  2. Get 500 g minced meat
  3. Prepare 4 tbsp vegetable oil

  12. Take 1 lemon - juiced (optional)

Steps to make Artichoke:

  1. Broth preparation: - In a sauce pan, add oil, flour, salt, 7 spices and water mixing well together
  2. Allow to heat, until the mixture begins to thicken and then add the lemon juice
  3. Artichoke and stuffing preparation: artichoke is boiled and then fried until golden in colour
  4. In a sauté pan add oil then meat and stir
  5. Add salt to taste and 7 spices stir until cooked,then add pine nuts
  6. Place artichokes in a pyrex try, then cover with minced meat and pine nuts
  7. Pour broth over the top and cover with aluminium foil. Place try in a preheated oven.
  8. Allow the try to cook top and bottom for 1 hour
  9. Or until cooked and top has browned a little - serve with vermicelli rice
