The ingredients needed to make Ghee rice:

  1. Get 1 cup Basmati Rice
  2. Take 2-3 Slit Green Chillies
  3. Get 1 Bay Leaf
  4. Get 2 Cardamom

Instructions to make Ghee rice:

  1. Wash, soak(15 min) and drain the rice. Heat a pressure cooker and add a tbsp of ghee in it. Add the whole spices and green chillies. Saute for a second or two.
  2. Add the drained rice and fry for a minute.
  3. Add water and pressure cook for one whistle.
  4. Now heat a small pan and add the remaining ghee. Add sliced onions and fry until golden brown. Fry the cashews and raisins too.
  5. Add this to the rice and mix. Keep aside some for garnish. Done !😋 Serve hot with Egg Roast or Chicken Curry or Any vegetarian stew ir curry.
