- Get 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

Instructions to make Masala Fried Idli:
- First, take a bowl add suji and curd and add water and mix it well to make a semi-thick consistency and rest it for 15 minutes.
- Now after that it will get little thicker so add more water to make a idli batter consistency.Now add salt in it and mix it well.
- Now grease the idli moulds and add fruit salt in the last and lightly mix it and pour the batter in a mould and steam it for 10 minutes or microwave it for 2minutes 30 seconds.
- After cooling down demould all the idlis.And cut it in to four parts.
- Now grind the tomatoes and chillies to make a smooth paste.
- Now take a kadhai add 2 tbsp oil and heat it. Now add mustard seeds and crackle them and add curry leaves. Now add sliced onion and cook it for 2 minutes. Now add our tomato puree and mix it well. Now add salt,red chilli, turmeric powder,deggi mirch and mix it well and cook it for 2 minutes and now add tomato ketchup and mix well. Now add little water to make a thick gravy and cook it for a minute.
- Now add all idlis in this gravy and mix gently so that idlis get covered with gravy.And finally add coriander leaves.
