  1. Firstly in a pan take 1/4 cup sugar and heat on low flame.stir in between until Sugar melts completely. Continue to heat in low to medium flame until the Sugar turns golden brown. This stage is called caramalized Sugar.
  2. Pour the caramalized Sugar into a pan.now take bread slices and trim off the sides. In a blender,blend the bread pieces and make a fine powder.
  3. In a bowl take milk and custard powder and mix well.make sure there are no lumps.transfer this mixture into a kadhai or pan and cook on medium flame until the milk thickens. Now add powdered bread slowly and mix.add sugar and vanilla essence and mix everything well. Stir continuously.continue to Cook until the mixture turns super creamy and thick.
  4. Pour this mixture into the pan of caramalized Sugar.pack this pan with aluminium foil. Place this in a steamer.cover and cook for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes remove from heat and cool down completely in room temperature.
  5. Refrigerate it for 3-4 hours.remove from freeze and unmould.enjoy caramel bread pudding.
